Pamilerin, the daughter of comedian Dejo Tunfulu, has said that he was given inadequate care when her father was hospitalized at Ikorodu General Hospital. She thinks that he died due to the lack of care he received.
Pamilerin stated this in an interview with BBC News Yoruba I believe it was malaria; he went out three nights ago and when he returned, he collapsed; we took him to the general hospital in Ikorodu; I was there with him; the general hospital in Ikorodu didn't try at all; we provided everything they needed, but they didn't give him good attention; they have poor management; I could assume that the poor attention he got contributed to his death. Even when he needed to pee, we paid for it since, at a regular hospital, we had to pay for practically everything. They continue to take blood from us even after we have paid for it.
They caused major delays for us.
