"Dubai Govt Has Just Banned Nigeria Visa Application" Aremu Afolayan Reacts To The Conflicts Caused By Nigerians In Dubai

Due to the viral conflict in Satwa, Dubai has reportedly barred Nigerians from obtaining visas. The ban was imposed in response to the mayhem caused by certain Nigerian immigrants in the UAE. In a video from the event, young men wielding machetes can be seen wreaking havoc in the neighborhood at night. They destroyed other buildings, chased uninvolved homeowners, shattered a car's side windows, and generally caused havoc in the neighborhood.

The troublemakers were detained by Dubai police, it was revealed days after the video went viral.

The Dubai administration allegedly went one step further and slowed down the visa application procedure for Nigerians.

Unverified sources state that Nigerian males under the age of 36 are not now eligible for visas from the Dubai government.

Nigerian actress Aremu Afolayan expressed regret that industrious Nigerians will be impacted by this decision made by the Dubai government while reacting from Dubai.

Nigerians, according to him, have a legal right to be in Dubai, and any Nigerians causing issues there are probably doing so illegally.

"Pick up the trouble makers and don't use that to destroy the livelihood of every other Nigerians," he said in a video.

He added that everyone is an immigrant in other countries, therefore it will be wrong to judge all Nigerians based on the actions of a few.

"They make trouble and kill each other, take them to jail, do anything to them, they deserve it. But there are innocent Nigerians that need to feed,"

he added.

Additionally, he inquired as to what the Nigerian embassy in Dubai was doing to assist Nigerians who were impacted by the ban.

The video below shows him speaking.
