Reactions As Yomi Fabiyi Still Insist That Baba Ijesha should be Allowed To Appeal

That the troubled actor was sentenced to five years in jail for sexually Molesting a 14-year-old girl who is comedienne Princess' daughter is no longer news. 

An Ikeja Special Offences Court found the troubled Nollywood star Olanrewaju James, aka Baba Ijesha, guilty of sexually abusing a juvenile aged 14 after more than a year of his detention and trial.

In a two-hour ruling on Thursday,  Justice Oluwatoyin found Baba Ijesha guilty of sexual assault, attempted sexual assault, and indecent treatment of a minor.

However, Taiwo cleared him on charges one and six, which were sexual penetration assault and attempted sexual penetration assault.

As a result, he received a 16-year prison term, but only five of those years would be consecutive.

Yomi Fabiyi, who was in the courtroom, addressed the media and pleaded for the actor to be given the opportunity to appeal.

He said that until he has used up all of his options, Baba Ijesha still has plenty of chances to contest the court's decision.

In addition, he asked that Princess be disciplined for her parenting' carelessness.
