A person could assume that aging would prevent some older celebrities from starring in movies due to the health issues that come with becoming older, yet many are devoted to their work and wouldn't stop until death do them part.
They clearly love what they do, and it's encouraging to see that they still have the strength to work on sets among other young actors and actresses.
Lanre Adeshina Hassan also known as Iya Awero, is a well-known veteran actress in Nollywood. She started performing in movies with Oga Bello in the 1970s. She continues to be involved in Nollywood today. The age of Iya Awero is 71.
Asunmo Mistura-Mama Asunmo is a well-known actress and director of Yoruba descent. She has been an actress for 30 years and just turned 80. She is one of the older famous people that still works in the film industry. She has recently appeared in a few films.
Morenike Alausa, also known by her stage name Mama Ereko, has worked in the Yoruba film business for more than 15 years. She's still working in the film industry at the age of 77. She just created a film with well-known petite actress Aunty Ramota.
Award-winning veteran actress Idowu Philips, better known by her stage name Mama Rainbow. She is among Nollywood's most prominent senior actors and actresses. She still works in Nollywood and will be 80 in October 2022.
