A retirement party for Odunlade Adekola's father was organized over the weekend in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and Nollywood celebrities attended to support their colleague.
The retirement celebration was attended by Nollywood stars including Femi Adebayo Salami, Peju Ogunmola, Fathia Williams, Akin Olaiya, Ireti Osayemi, and Owolabi Ajasa, among others.
Odunlade Adekola uploaded pictures of his coworkers at the Thanksgiving party along with a statement of gratitude as a way of showing his gratitude for the overwhelming display of love.

In addition, Odunlade Adekola also expressed gratitude to Peju Ogunmola Omobolanle and Faithia Williams for providing him with physical assistance during the church session.
As he posted recordings from his father's retirement service at Christ Apostolic Church in Abeokuta, Ogun state, Odunlade Adekola happily praised his father, Pastor N. A. Adekola, who had recently retired from the ministry.
The several award-winning actor expressed his gratitude to God for his father's success. He expressed his gratitude to the people and then addressed them in prayer.
