The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has addressed Nigerians in a post following the presidential and national assembly elections held on February 25th. Using Bible verses, Pastor Adeboye emphasized that God is greater than any earthly leader and recounted the story of a former Nigerian military ruler who believed he owned the country and killed people at will, only for God to remove him permanently. Pastor Adeboye cautioned those in leadership positions against allowing power to get to their heads, reminding them that ultimately, God is in charge.
