Tragedy Strikes As Labour Party Senatorial Candidate, Oyibo Chukwu, Is Shot And Burned Alive In Enugu

Tragedy struck in Enugu as the Labour Party candidate for Enugu East Senatorial district, Oyibo Chukwu, was reportedly shot and killed while returning from a campaign trip. According to reports, the vehicle he was traveling in was set ablaze, and a video circulating on social media showed the burning vehicle with Chukwu inside. It is unclear if any of the other three occupants in the vehicle survived. Chukwu was a trained lawyer and his death has sent shockwaves across the political landscape of Enugu State.
