In a disclaimer posted on her social media, Dami clarified that she is a staunch supporter of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and a member of the APC, and had only reposted a post that was not created by her. She also discouraged cyberbullying and victimization, emphasizing that politics is local, and encouraged people to vote for the APC from top to bottom.
