“Funke And Toyin No Get Big Yansh, They Didn’t Emulate Her”-lizzy Jay Slams Man Blaming Female Celebrities For Death Of Lady In Butt Lift Surgery

Lizzy Jay, a popular Nigerian comedian, and actress, recently spoke out against a man who had blamed Nigerian female celebrities for the death of a woman who had undergone butt lift surgery. The woman, identified as Destiny, reportedly underwent the cosmetic procedure in Lagos but died after complications arose.

The man in question had made a video criticizing the unethical advice given by many celebrities and claiming that they set a bad example for younger generations, despite their role as mentors and influencers in society. He specifically called out female celebrities for promoting their buttocks online and flaunting their wealth, leading younger girls to think that they could achieve these things by getting a bigger butt.

Lizzy Jay responded to the criticism by using veteran actresses Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, and Kate Henshaw as examples of celebrities who did not feel the need to change their body shapes to be successful. Funke Akindele has been in the industry for over two decades and has made over 630 million nairas on Battle on Buka Street, while Toyin Abraham, known as "Mama" in the industry, has made millions at the box office without having a big butt. Kate Henshaw is also known for her dedication to fitness and exercise. Lizzy Jay pointed out that people have options, and it is up to individuals to choose what suits them best.

She also emphasized the importance of personal choice and contentment, saying that blaming others for personal choices is not fair. She acknowledged that there are negative influences on social media but also pointed out that there are thousands of positive things to emulate. She encouraged people to work on themselves and have minds of their own and filters things and pick what is best for them.

Lizzy Jay also addressed the issue of peer pressure, saying that people who allow peer pressure to influence them may already be unhappy or dissatisfied with their own lives. She ended her message by saying that everything comes down to individual choice and that people should have a mind of their own and do what is best for them.
