Fuji singer Alao Maliaka has offered his condolences to the Lagos government and the families of the victims of a train accident in the state. Six people were confirmed dead when a train collided with a bus conveying staff of the Lagos government. Witnesses reported that the driver of the BRT bus attempted to cross the rail track when the oncoming train hit it. The managing director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) blamed the driver for the accident. Malaika expressed his sympathy for the victims' families and those who suffered injuries in a statement on his Instagram page. He prayed that Allah would grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss and hoped that such an accident would never happen again.
