Tragic Loss For Nigerian Music Industry As Saheed Osupa's Renowned Saxophonist, Sule Sax, Passes Away



Abiodun Lasisi, a talented saxophonist known as Sule Sax, has passed away. He was a well-known member of the band of popular Nigerian Fuji musician, Saheed Osupa. Sule Sax had been battling an undisclosed illness before his untimely death.


In 2019, Sule Sax underwent a kidney transplant, a procedure that was largely paid for by Mama Esther Ajayi, a prominent Nigerian philanthropist. This was a life-saving procedure for Sule Sax, but unfortunately, his health continued to deteriorate.


Saheed Osupa took to his Instagram page to announce the death of his bandmate and friend, expressing his deep sadness and sharing fond memories of their time together. Sule Sax was a talented musician, and his contributions to the band will be sorely missed.
