Nollywood actress and influencer, Biodun Okeowo, also known as Biodun Omoborty, has received backlash from fans for complaining about the cost of fixing her damaged car online. The actress had shared a video explaining the high cost of refurbishing her car after it was damaged in two accidents within a space of 10 minutes while on her way to a party. However, netizens accused her of chasing clout and being insensitive to the plight of ordinary Nigerians who struggle to make ends meet.
In response to the criticism, Biodun Omoborty explained that she shared the video to keep her fans and brands aware of the condition of her car, as it affected her plans for the day. She also called on her fans to be considerate, as she is accountable to every brand she represents. Additionally, she shared the evidence of the bill she received for repairing her car, which was over a million naira.
