Nollywood actor, Lukman Raji, took to his Instagram page to reminisce about his cherished childhood memories with his late childhood friend, Murphy Afolabi. Lukman revealed that their friendship spanned from their early years as they both hailed from the same community in Osogbo.
In a heartfelt post, Lukman disclosed that before venturing into the entertainment industry, both he and Murphy faced various challenges together. They weathered the storms side by side and eventually conceived the idea of establishing a theatre group, alongside a few colleagues.
Despite encountering numerous misunderstandings along the way, Lukman and Murphy always found a way to reconcile their differences. Lukman expressed deep admiration for Murphy's kind-hearted nature, noting that he never held grudges and was always willing to let go of troubles.
Sadly, it was during a time when they were beginning to rekindle their bond and bring their old friends together for greater achievements in the industry that Murphy's untimely passing occurred. Lukman offered prayers, asking the almighty Allah to grant Murphy Afolabi a place in Aljanah Firdaus, the highest level of paradise.
Lukman concluded his heartfelt message by expressing how much he misses his dear friend, affectionately referring to him as "Omo Afolabi."
