Skit Maker Trinity Guy and Parents of Underaged Girl Remanded over Disturbing Abusive Skit

A Family Court in Ibadan has made a significant ruling in the case involving skit maker Maruf Abdullahi, popularly known as Trinity Guy. The court ordered his remand in the Agodi correctional facility on charges of allegedly sexually exploiting a 10-year-old girl.

Not only was Trinity Guy remanded, but the court also arraigned and remanded the parents of the victim, Isiaka Ahmed (40) and Rofiat Ahmed (29), on charges of conspiracy, sexual abuse, and exploitation. The three defendants were not allowed to enter a plea due to jurisdiction limitations. The court acknowledged that the case file had been filed and duplicated at the Oyo State Ministry of Justice.

As a result, the defendants have been remanded in the Agodi Correctional Facility in Ibadan until July 11, when the case is scheduled to be mentioned.

The incident gained attention after Trinity Guy's viral skit video surfaced, which allegedly sexualized a minor. The video depicted the female minor reacting to witnessing Trinity Guy's genitals while he was urinating, and he asked her to describe what she saw.

The Oyo State Police Command took action in response to the video, inviting Trinity Guy to their station. In a statement released on their official Twitter handle, they confirmed the invitation and mentioned that updates would be provided.

The court's decision to remand Trinity Guy and the victim's parents reflects the seriousness of the allegations and highlights the commitment of the legal system to address cases involving the exploitation and abuse of minors.
