Renowned Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has joined the grieving community in mourning the tragic loss of singer Mohbad, who passed away at the young age of 27.
Iyabo Ojo took to her Instagram page to reflect on the inevitability of death and expressed profound shock and heartache over Mohbad's demise.
While acknowledging that questioning God is not within her place, Iyabo shared that she has grappled with moments of doubt and inner turmoil, where her faith has been tested in the face of such a tragic loss.
Iyabo Ojo also promised never to forget the time they toured the UK together at the One Africa Music Festival. She fondly described Mohbad as a calm, respectful, and jovial individual.
In her post's caption, she wrote: "Death... is one shocking and painful reality that is inevitable... it's so hard to accept 🥲. We say we can't question God, but God knows I have sinned against him because I have questioned him one too many times... 😔 🙏. It's a hard acceptance, to see hmmmmmm someone so young."
"At Mohbad, I will never forget those 3 days we toured together in the UK for the One Africa music fest... very calm, respectful, and at the same time jovial... may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace 🙏. My condolences go out to his family, most especially his dear wife and son 🙏 may God grant you the fortitude to bear your loss... It is well 🙏."
