The popular street-pop artist, Portable, has ignited a buzz online by making strong statements about safeguarding his association with Yung Duu and the terms of their record label agreement.
In a recent interview, Portable addressed the ongoing dispute with Yung Duu, an artist he signed to his record label. He emphasized that Yung Duu remains bound by his contract with Zeh Nation and that any attempt to entice him away from the label would come at a considerable cost.
Portable, also known as Habeeb Okikiola, a renowned Nigerian street-pop musician, elaborated on the disagreement between his record label and Yung Duu. Despite discussions about Yung Duu potentially signing with Carter Efe, Portable stressed that Yung Duu is still a part of his label.
Furthermore, Dr. Zeh, the record label owner, outlined the reasons behind his unwavering commitment to retaining Yung Duu under his record company.
Portable revealed the substantial amount required to secure Yung Duu's release. He made it unequivocally clear that anyone seeking to take Yung Duu away from his label would need to settle the outstanding financial obligations. According to Portable, Yung Duu's value is estimated at a staggering N100 billion, and anyone attempting to lure him from the label would be expected to pay that substantial sum.
The musician also discussed how, when he initially took Yung Duu under his wing, he faced criticism and insults. However, now that Yung Duu's talent has flourished, there are individuals trying to entice him away from the label, prompting Portable to take a resolute stance on the matter.
