Charles Inojie Reveals the Hidden Lives of Some Women in the Industry, Calls Them 'Jezebel Daughters' Using Movies to Cover Up Their Dubious Activities

Renowned Nigerian actor and comedian, Charles Inojie, has brought to light a disturbing issue plaguing the Nollywood industry. During a recent episode of OAP Nedu's podcast, Inojie, famous for his role in 'The Johnson's,' raised concerns about a specific group of women who he claims have infiltrated the Nigerian film scene, using the guise of actresses to engage in illicit activities.

Inojie alleged that these women often portray themselves as award-winning actresses, despite having a lackluster filmography. According to him, their primary focus is on trading their bodies for material gains such as expensive cars and mansions, all while masquerading as legitimate actresses. In reality, he asserted that many of them couldn't even make it past the audition stage.

Furthermore, Inojie revealed that the issue of s*x-for-role is not limited to just filmmakers exploiting aspiring actresses. He claimed that some actresses actively offer themselves to directors and producers in exchange for coveted roles in movies.

Inojie summed up the situation by explaining, "There are actresses who are willing to go to great lengths to secure a spot in front of the camera. When a director or producer encounters such individuals lacking professionalism, they succumb to temptation. This issue of sex-for-role is not a one-sided problem; it goes both ways. Additionally, there's a group of desperate individuals among these women, actively seeking out directors and producers to further their careers."

Charles Inojie's candid revelations have shed light on a contentious issue within Nollywood, sparking discussions about the need for reform and professional integrity within the industry.
