Celebrated actor Rasak Olasunkanmi Olayiwola, widely known as Ojopagogo, is celebrating his birthday on September 30, 2023. The veteran actor took to his social media page to share a photo of himself wearing agbada and express his gratitude.
Ojopagogo, who hails from Iseyin in Oyo State, is married to Moji Afolayan, the elder sister of renowned filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, Aremu, and Gabriel Afolayan. Coincidentally, he shares his birthday with his brother-in-law, Kunle Afolayan.
While primarily residing in Ibadan, Oyo State, Ojopagogo frequently visits Lagos for movie projects. He earned his stage name, "Ojopagogo," during a stage play titled "Ola Abata" in 1986, which was attended by the Alaafin of Oyo. The play was produced by the Labake Theatre, where the actor had previously worked.
Expressing his gratitude, Ojopagogo wrote, "Alhamdulillahi robili alamin #birthday," thanking God for adding another year to his life.
