October 31st holds a somber significance in the life of Nigerian music sensation Davido as it marks one year since the untimely loss of his son, Ifeanyi.
On this day of remembrance, Davido took to Twitter to express his emotions and reflection on the poignant one-year anniversary of his son's tragic passing. He shared a flying bird emoji as a symbolic gesture.
The heart-wrenching tragedy occurred in 2022 when young Ifeanyi reportedly drowned at Davido's Banana Island mansion while the couple, Davido and Chioma, were away for an event. Despite immediate efforts to save him, Ifeanyi was declared deceased after being rushed to EvacCare Hospital.
In the lead-up to this sad anniversary, Davido and Chioma had welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, into their lives. What started as a celebration took an unexpected turn when a video of the family with their newborns sparked a dispute between Davido and musician Samklef. This disagreement led to Davido blocking Samklef on social media, and the discussion continued online in the following days.
