Naira Marley and Sam Larry Set Free! Big Relief as They Meet Bail Terms in Mohbad Case

In a recent turn of events, the Lagos State Police Command has officially released Azeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, and his close associate Samson Erinfolami Balogun, aka Sam Larry. The release came after the duo fulfilled the bail conditions set by a Magistrate’s Court in Yaba.

To rewind a bit, both Naira Marley and Sam Larry were taken into custody and subsequently arraigned before the court due to their alleged involvement in the controversial death of Naira Marley's former signee, Mohbad, on September 12. This led to their arrest and subsequent legal proceedings.

On November 6, the Yaba Magistrate’s Court granted them bail, requiring a hefty sum of N20 million and three responsible sureties. The magistrate overseeing the case, Adeola Olatunbosun, specified that part of the bail conditions included the submission of their passports and a mandatory weekly check-in at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.

Fast forward to Friday evening, November 17, when the duo was officially released after successfully meeting all stipulated bail requirements. The case has garnered significant attention, not only due to Naira Marley's celebrity status but also because of the nature of the allegations surrounding the tragic death of Mohbad. As they resume their freedom, the spotlight remains on the ongoing investigations and any future developments in this high-profile case.
