Veteran movie star Kanayo O Kanayo has issued a warning to Nigerian youths, advising them against resorting to money rituals to attain wealth. The renowned actor, who gained a reputation for playing ritualistic roles in Nollywood movies, emphasized during a recent chat on Ikenga Online’s virtual Town Hall Meeting that there is no connection between human sacrifices and acquiring wealth.
Kanayo O Kanayo urged Nigerian youths to prioritize hard work in their endeavors instead of falling into the trap of seeking quick riches through dubious means. He debunked the notion that engaging in rituals, such as sacrificing a loved one, could lead to financial success.
Addressing the evolving nature of scams, Kanayo O Kanayo highlighted the shift from traditional scams to contemporary ones like "Yahoo Promax," involving gruesome rituals. He stressed the importance of understanding that true wealth is achieved through dedication and hard work.
Sharing his personal story of success, Kanayo O Kanayo revealed that he built his mansion through the money earned from a nationwide campaign with Globacom in 2016. Contrary to the belief in sacrifices, he explained that the sacrifice he made was opting for a house instead of purchasing a new Range Rover, showcasing the value of wise financial decisions over rituals.
