In a recent series of tweets, Daniel Regha, known for his controversial statements, didn't hold back in criticizing Shallipopi's latest music project, giving it a low score of 1 out of 10.
Expressing his views on Twitter, Regha argued that Shallipopi's debut album, "Presido La Pluto," seemed tailored for a specific audience, namely "Yahoo boys" and weed enthusiasts.
While acknowledging the album's good beats, Regha didn't mince words when it came to the lyrics, deeming them a complete letdown. He specifically called out the track "Iyo," claiming that Shallipopi lacked originality by allegedly sampling Fabo Mo's "Itendo."
On a somewhat more positive note, Regha found one track, "Jungle," to be somewhat more tolerable. Despite the harshness of his critique, he concluded his Twitter rant with a lukewarm "no offence," implying that his comments were simply his personal opinions.
In his words: Shallipopi's debut album (Presido La Pluto) is a 1/10; The album is made for yahoo boys & weed smokers. The beats were very catchy, but lyrically speaking the songs are a zer¤. Furthermore, in the track "Iyo", he kinda sampled "Itendo", a song by Fabomo who's another popular Edo artiste. The on!y manageab!e track off the album is Jungle. No offense.
