"Orisa," released in July 2023, marks Odunlade Adekola's debut in the world of cinema movies. The film unfolds the story of a king losing respect for gods and subjects, putting the kingdom at risk, with the queen as the only hope for salvation.
The exceptional film not only gained international recognition but also achieved the remarkable feat of being named the Best Film in Africa at the 2023 Montreal English Theatre Awards.
