Nollywood actor Ayo Olaiya recently opened up about his association with fellow actress Olaide Oyedeji during an interview on Biola Bayo's Talkshow, "Talk To B."
Addressing public perception, Olaiya acknowledged that people tend to point fingers at him concerning the breakdown of Oyedeji's marriage. However, he clarified that their connection is purely professional.
Olaiya spoke highly of Oyedeji's outstanding performance in his series "Jacob" and recalled a memorable encounter abroad. He recounted an incident when a woman confronted him, blaming him for the marital issues of his colleagues due to intimate scenes in his movies.
Regarding his bond with Oyedeji, Olaiya emphasized that there is no intimate involvement between them. He highlighted that even his creator can attest to the professionalism of their relationship, stating, "There is nothing between me and Laide. God is my witness." The actor emphasized that Oyedeji's marital issues existed before he cast her in his movie and that he values their professional collaboration.
