Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh is expressing support for her colleague and friend, Iyabo Ojo, who is currently facing a N500 million lawsuit from singer Naira Marley.
Last week, Gboah reported that Naira Marley, professionally known as Azeez Adeshina Fashola, had taken legal action against Iyabo Ojo. He demanded a public apology from the actress, threatening a legal battle with damages amounting to N500 million. Naira accused Iyabo of defamation, alleging the publication of false and malicious content on her Instagram page.
In response, Iyabo Ojo filed a N1 billion counterclaim, highlighting the singer's decision to make the lawsuit public rather than serving her privately through his lawyer. She labeled it as blackmail and demanded N1 billion for misleading the public.
Tonto Dikeh, showing solidarity, took to her Instagram page, affirming their journey together and stating, "We started together, we end it together." The post indicates Tonto's support for Iyabo Ojo during this challenging legal situation.
