Ken Erics Warms Hearts with Visit to Recovering Mr Ibu, Shares Joyful Reunion as Mr Ibu Returns Home After Months of Hospitalization

Nollywood actor Ken Erics has brought joy to fans as he shared a heartwarming video of his visit to veteran actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu. After spending months in the hospital, Mr Ibu is now back home, marking a joyous return for both fans and colleagues.

Ken Erics took to his Instagram page to share a video capturing his visit to the veteran actor, expressing respect and good wishes. In the caption, he mentioned that the video was meant to brighten the day for fans and lovers of Mr Ibu.

"Happy Sunday lovelies. Something to brighten your day @realmribu."

The touching gesture received an outpouring of heartfelt messages in the comment section, with many praising Ken Erics for bringing joy to Mr Ibu's day through the visit.

In October, veteran actor Mr Ibu faced a health crisis, seeking public assistance to prevent potential amputation. Nigerian music stars Davido and P-Square, alongside Tunde Ednut, stepped up to cover his medical costs. Former Senate President Bukola Saraki's foundation cleared his bills, and Mr Ibu underwent multiple successful surgeries.

However, a month later, his daughter Jasmine disclosed that a part of his leg had to be amputated for a better chance of recovery, totaling seven surgeries. Recent updates revealed another amputation, with reports suggesting his health was declining, affecting his ability to communicate.

Dr. Emeka Rollas, National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, acknowledged the situation, resigning the actor to fate. Despite challenges, Jasmine expressed gratitude to singer Paul Okoye for his silent support throughout the ordeal. She thanked the public for standing by her father, acknowledging the overwhelming experiences of the past year, encompassing both positive and challenging moments.
