Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has raised an alarm after reportedly being attacked in his own home. The artist took to his Instagram story to share the distressing incident, revealing that a group of men allegedly invaded his residence and subjected him to a merciless beating. The attack, he claimed, was in retaliation for his failure to perform at an event for which he had already been paid.
In the midst of the turmoil, Portable disclosed that he had been swiftly taken to the hospital due to the pain inflicted during the assault. Despite the adversity, he expressed gratitude for having God by his side, acknowledging the harsh treatment he received. The singer, acknowledging the presence of enemies around him, emphasized his thankfulness that God surpasses any human adversary.
"Omo Ologo surrounded by my enemies. Na God dey cover me Zazuu. These people really do me bad but thank God say man no be God. Am in pain, on my way to the hospital."
The incident raises concerns about the safety of artists in the entertainment industry, shedding light on the challenges they may face beyond the stage.
