In the aftermath of the recent explosion in Ibadan, Nollywood actress Aisha Lawal has shared her harrowing experience and expressed profound gratitude for escaping the disaster.
The explosion, which occurred on Tuesday night, plunged the city into panic, with reports of damaged properties and shattered windows, including those at the UCH School of Nursing hostel. While the cause of the explosion is yet to be determined, investigations are underway.
Aisha Lawal, recounting her close call with the tragedy, revealed that she was in Bodija when the incident happened. She expressed thankfulness to God for her safety, explaining that she initially parked her car to buy suya opposite an estate but later moved it to the exact location where the explosion occurred.
Sharing her distressing observations, Aisha mentioned witnessing many casualties and questioned the cause of the unfortunate incident.
"Alhamdulilah for today, I was at Bodija when the explosion happened, in fact, my ears are still ringing from the effect. Thank God for our lives. I even parked to buy suya opposite that Estate o! Now later moved my car from Sloggers Club to the Metro hotel on the same Osuntokun when it happened. Olohun anu oooooooo. Too many dead bodies, ehhhhhh what exactly is going on oooo.
