Toyin thanked both God and everyone who watched "Malaika" for its success. She wrote on Instagram, "Thank you GOD and thank you to everyone who has seen Malaika. Malaika is now the 9 highest-grossing Nigerian film of all time. Malaikathemovie is still showing in all cinemas." She also mentioned that the movie is still being shown in cinemas.
