"Social Media Wasn’t A Menace When You Used It To Address The Government As Vagabonds" Mr Macaroni Rugs Femi Gbajabiamila

Nigerian skitmaker and activist, Mr Macaroni, has publicly addressed Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, regarding Gbajabiamila's recent characterization of social media as a menace. Mr Macaroni pointed out the irony of Gbajabiamila's position by sharing screenshots of Gbajabiamila's old tweets from 2014, where he had used social media to criticize previous governments, branding them as "Vagabond and Barbarians."

In his message, Mr Macaroni accused Gbajabiamila of being hypocritical, emphasizing the inconsistency in his views on social media. Mr Macaroni wrote, "Social Media wasn't a menace when Mr Gbajabiamila used it to address the Government as Vagabonds and Barbarians in 2014. Today he is Chief of Staff and he suddenly realizes that Social media is a menace… HYPOCRITICAL VAGABONDS IN POWER AND BARBARIANS AT THE GATE!!!!" This statement highlighted Mr Macaroni's frustration with what he perceives as a double standard in Gbajabiamila's stance on social media.

Moreover, Mr Macaroni expressed his discontent with the government's neglect of the people's welfare, suggesting that they view Nigerians with disdain by referring to them as "Imbeciles." He urged Gbajabiamila and the government to address the pressing issues faced by Nigerians, particularly the economic challenges. He wrote, "This was you when Social Media was sweeting you. It is evident that you and this accidental and desperate government of yours regard Nigerians as Imbeciles!! Well, we are not!!! The people are suffering!!! Fix up and put an end to this ridiculousness!!!!" This message conveyed Mr Macaroni's call for action and accountability from the government to alleviate the suffering of the Nigerian people rather than dismissing their concerns about social media.
