Media personality Do2dtun continues to express his frustrations regarding his custody battle with his ex-wife. In a recent statement on the micro-blogging platform, he condemned those who ridicule him over the situation, linking their actions to the loss of his children. Do2dtun reiterated his anguish, warning that even in death, his spirit would haunt his detractors, expressing a wish for no one to undergo similar experiences. He wrote:
“It’s those that say this to me “that’s why they took your kids away” that my soul will never forgive. If I die today, my spirit will haunt u all. No one should ever go through what I went through. I am just a tough kid with a tough skin. You all will die an untimely death.”
The statement follows Do2dtun's public confrontation with his ex-wife and her family last year, where he detailed their denial of access to their children. Despite issuing ultimatums and emotional pleas for reconciliation, he faced further setbacks. His ex-wife's promises of access to their children turned out to be false, leaving him distraught, especially after discovering his daughters had been taken abroad without his knowledge.
Compounding his distress, a court in Abuja restrained him from making defamatory posts against his ex-wife's brother, singer D’banj, on social media. Do2dtun criticized this move, asserting that his public statements were truthful. This legal entanglement follows Do2dtun's divorce from Omotayo, D’banj's younger sister, after nearly nine years of marriage, citing reasons including forced abortion, domestic violence, and emotional abuse.
Despite facing numerous challenges, Do2dtun remains resolute in his pursuit of justice and reconciliation amid the complexities of his custody battle.
