"I'm Starting My Political Career From Here" Laide Bakare Appointed Senior Special Assistant By Osun State Government

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor On Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism. This announcement was made on Thursday night, with photos and videos showing Bakare signing her appointment letter alongside Governor Adeleke.


On her Instagram page, Bakare expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, calling it the beginning of her political career. She referred to herself as "honorable" and thanked Governor Adeleke for his trust, promising to deliver her best in her new role. She also sought divine assistance in fulfilling her duties, writing:
