Nigerian dancehall artist Timaya has come to the defense of Davido, urging people to stop diminishing his achievements by attributing his success solely to his father's wealth.
Timaya emphasized that Davido has dedicated significant effort and hard work to achieve his current status in the industry. He expressed admiration for Davido's talent and consistency, labeling himself as a fan of the "Unavailable" singer.
In his statement, Timaya stated, "I’m a fan of Davido. I find it disrespectful when people try to water down his hard work in the name of the father has money. Yes, the father has money but Davido has worked hard to get his own."
He further praised Davido's work ethic, describing him as one of the most diligent young men he has encountered. Timaya urged individuals to refrain from discrediting Davido's accomplishments, emphasizing the significant contributions he has made to the music industry.
"Quit trying to discredit him, this young man has done way too much," Timaya concluded.
