Nollywood actor Kunle Afod continues his mission to support elderly veteran actors and actresses facing hardship.
Last week, Afod visited Iya A2 and was shocked by her living conditions, especially after witnessing one of her buildings collapsing dangerously close to her.
In a heartening update, Afod revealed that they have secured and fully furnished a new apartment for her. Expressing gratitude to all who contributed, he wrote: "We finally got an apartment for iya OLOGI. We say a big thank you to all good-hearted people that contributed towards this.. apo yin koni gbe .. I know God will conclude what he has started…"
Social media users lauded Afod's efforts, though some questioned the long-term sustainability of the arrangement for the elderly lady.
