"President Tinubu Is Not Responsible For The Rot In Nigeria," Sunday Igboho Reveals

Sunday Adeyemo, commonly known as Igboho, a prominent advocate for the Yoruba nation, has challenged the assertion that President Bola Tinubu shoulders responsibility for Nigeria's current state of decay.

Despite the removal of fuel subsidies by Tinubu shortly after taking office in 2023, Igboho contends that blaming Tinubu for the nation's woes is unfounded. He points out that the issues predate Tinubu's tenure, with the Buhari-led government failing to budget for petroleum subsidies in 2023.

During a visit to the Igboho town monarch's palace in Oyo State, Igboho expressed his stance, highlighting his previous calls for Yoruba unity and liberation from perceived oppression under President Buhari's administration. He suggested that Nigeria should be divided for freedom, attributing the country's deterioration to Buhari's governance rather than Tinubu's brief term in office.
