Stanley Nwabali, goalkeeper for the Super Eagles, received an enthusiastic reception from his hometown of Onelga local government area in Rivers State on Sunday, February 18.
Residents of all ages came out in large numbers to welcome their fellow community member, who showcased commendable performance during the AFCON tournament.
In a momentous occasion, Nwabali was bestowed with the chieftaincy title of Ugo Egbema 1 by His Royal Majesty Evaristus Amuda, Nze Obi of Egbema and Chairman of the ONELGA traditional rulers council.
