"President Tinubu Is Working Hard To Make Sure That Young Nigerians Living Abroad Come Back To Nigeria" Minister Of State For Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande Says

Ayodele Olawande, the Minister of State for Youth Development, has affirmed the federal government's commitment to creating a conducive environment for young people to thrive in their chosen careers. He emphasized the government's efforts to address the "japa syndrome" and encourage Nigerian youths living abroad to return home.

In a statement to journalists in Abuja over the weekend, Olawande highlighted the importance of providing favorable conditions for all Nigerians, particularly the youth, to pursue their aspirations within the country. He stressed that by fostering an enabling environment, the need for Nigerians to seek opportunities overseas would diminish, and those who have already relocated would be motivated to return.

Olawande underscored President Bola Tinubu's dedication to establishing conditions that would entice individuals who have left the country to come back and contribute to national development. He emphasized that while the "japa syndrome" may initially benefit from investment abroad, its true value lies in individuals returning to Nigeria to invest, create employment opportunities, and contribute to the nation's progress.
