Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has received medical clearance to participate in Wednesday's Africa Cup of Nations semi-final against South Africa, alleviating concerns about his fitness.
A spokesperson for the team confirmed that Osimhen is fit and available for selection, having joined the squad in Bouake and trained with them on Tuesday, February 6. Initially, there were doubts about his availability after he missed training and did not travel with the team from Abidjan to Bouake due to abdominal discomfort following Nigeria's quarter-final victory over Angola.
However, Osimhen's recovery has progressed positively, and he is now deemed ready to compete in the crucial semi-final match against South Africa.
