Nollywood actress Funke Ayotunde Akindele has reflected on her humble beginnings and showered herself with prayers.
Responding to a tweet about being alone in one’s hustle, Akindele shared that her journey was filled with emotional and physical stress, likening her efforts to working like a machine. She expressed gratitude for her progress and prayed for more strength, wisdom, and knowledge to continue being a significant force in the industry.
She tweeted, “Hmmm wasn’t easy!!! The physical and emotional stress!!! I worked like a machine!! All I can do now is to look back and thank God. I pray for more strength, wisdom and knowledge to continue to be a force to reckon with. Amen.”
Funke Akindele is indeed a major figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry. She made history by becoming the first Nigerian artist to achieve over one billion naira at the box office with her films "A Tribe Called Judah," "Battle On Buka Street," and "Omo Ghetto The Saga," which are the highest-grossing Nollywood films of all time.
