Nollywood actress and political appointee Eniola Badmus has explained a recent controversial post that was believed to be directed at Nigerian singer Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland.
Earlier today, Eniola shared a cryptic message about standing by someone who did not reciprocate the support. Although she did not name anyone, many speculated it was aimed at Davido and Chioma, suggesting it was because she was not invited to their wedding.
To address these speculations, Eniola took to her Instagram story to clarify the situation. She revealed that her post was actually about her sister, not Davido and Chioma. Eniola recounted how she had supported her sister and nephew when her sister was unemployed. She provided them with an apartment and a salary, only to be slandered by her sister, who began associating with Eniola’s adversaries.
Eniola expressed her frustration, saying, "I was there for you, remember to tell them. How can your own sister begin to wine and dine with your enemies? After taking care of your son, got you an apartment, placed you on a salary for not working and you still go ahead slandering us. God, ooooooo. Remember to tell them I was there for you when no one was. God, this is huge. Is this a sister or an enemy?"
Her clarification comes amid the excitement surrounding Davido and Chioma's upcoming wedding, scheduled for June 25, 2024.
