In a bold move, EndBadGovernance protesters in Abuja have defied a recent court order by gathering at the Berger Roundabout instead of the designated Moshood Abiola Stadium. The FCT High Court had mandated on Wednesday that the protest should be confined to the stadium, but tensions rose on Thursday when the demonstrators resisted efforts by security operatives to keep them inside the stadium.
According to activist Deji Adeyanju, the situation escalated when thugs arrived at the stadium in buses, prompting the protesters to relocate. This morning, they assembled at the Berger Roundabout, a bustling and prominent location in the Federal Capital Territory, to continue voicing their demands for better governance despite the heavy security presence and previous court restrictions.
