Controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has made headlines again with his recent statements regarding his time at Kirikiri Correctional Centre. Speaking on the 'Curiosity Made Me Ask' show, hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, Bobrisky described his six-month imprisonment as a "vacation." He emphasized that he used his time in jail to rest, noting that the experience didn't break him as intended.
Bobrisky was released on August 5, 2024, after serving a six-month sentence for spraying naira notes at parties, a violation that led to his imprisonment on April 12, 2024, by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos.
During the show, Bobrisky expressed a willingness to return to jail, albeit for a short term, asserting that his imprisonment was an attempt to break him. He criticized the justice system for sentencing him over the use of his own money, arguing that he did not commit any serious crime.
Despite his time behind bars, Bobrisky firmly rejected the label of "ex-convict," stating that he cannot be convicted for simply spraying money.
I’d love to go back to Kirikiri because I had fun there - Bobrisky
