Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has shown solidarity with Naomi Silekunola, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, following the tragic stampede in Ibadan that claimed the lives of over 30 children.
The heartbreaking incident occurred during a charity event organized by Naomi to feed the less privileged. What was meant to be an act of kindness turned into a disaster, leaving families grieving and Naomi facing legal challenges.
In an emotional Instagram post, Adeniyi Johnson expressed his condolences to the victims' families and offered prayers for Naomi, commending her pure intentions and charitable spirit.
He wrote:
"First and foremost, condolences to the family of lost ones; no family deserves this kind of pain at this time or any other. I pray the good Lord gives you the fortitude to bear the loss and comfort the family!! Amen."
Adeniyi highlighted Naomi’s good intentions and prayed for strength during this challenging period:

"I know for a fact that the law must be upheld, but we beseech the authorities in charge to temper justice with mercies and look beyond the tragic incident! GOD BLESS NIGERIA."
