"At 17, I started working and started strongly." – Nancy Isime Reflects on Her Journey as She Celebrates 33rd Birthday

Nollywood actress Nancy Isime celebrated her 33rd birthday with deep gratitude and reflection on the blessings she has received throughout her life. In an emotional Instagram post, she shared how she has been working toward her dreams since the age of 17.

Nancy posted photos of her newly acquired mansion, describing the excitement of becoming the full owner of her home. She reflected on how she made installment payments to acquire it and thanked God for helping her achieve this milestone.

Recalling her humble beginnings, Nancy shared a touching story about building her father’s dream home. She remembered sitting in an unfinished building when she was just 13 and making a promise to herself that she would own a good home. At 17, she started working as a party usher, saving money for her father’s house. On December 18, 2022, she fulfilled her promise by gifting her father the keys to a fully completed, furnished house.

Grateful for the support she received, Nancy prayed for her own blessings, saying, “God, I don do wetin you say make I do oh, abeg help me run my own, but no rush, at your own time.” On December 15, 2023, just a year after giving her father his home, she received the keys to her own dream house.

Reflecting on the journey, Nancy credited her success to God’s grace and her obedience to His word, referencing Deuteronomy 28:1-13. She shared how God had blessed her with wisdom, favor, and peace and aligned her with the right opportunities.

In her post, Nancy encouraged young people who relate to her story, saying, “Nothing can come between you and the blessings God has in store for you. Nothing! Keep pushing! Keep walking in faith and obedience.”

She closed with a joyful message, declaring, “It’s my Jesus Year, Y’all! Please join me in thanking God.”
