Yesterday, a video circulated online showing comedian Xxssive proposing to Nkechi, his partner of over three years. In the clip, he was seen putting a ring on her finger and blowing her a kiss, sparking widespread reactions.

Reacting to the buzz, Nkechi took to her Instagram story to question the pressure from online commentators urging people to marry their best friends. She later revealed that the proposal was staged and part of her work as an event planner. Nkechi explained that the event venue was a contract job, making it her first engagement event as a professional planner.
