Popular Nigerian TikToker Habeeb Hazmat, better known as Peller, has disclosed the secret to his success on the platform. Speaking during an interview with Nedu on the Honest Bunch Podcast, Peller revealed that portraying a “dull” persona is key to gaining traction on TikTok.
He shared that when he initially used good English in his content, he received low views. However, once he started using bad English during his live sessions, his audience grew, with over 2,000 viewers tuning in.
Peller also spoke about his earnings, revealing that the highest amount he has made on TikTok in a single night was ₦10 million. Contrary to rumors that he made $200,000 during a TikTok live session with singer Davido, Peller clarified that he only earned ₦1.5 million from that particular session.
Engagement and Upcoming Wedding
Last week, Peller proposed to his girlfriend, Jarvis, and shared a video of the special moment. He expressed his excitement about their future together, announcing that their wedding is set for 2025. Following his proposal, Peller left a message for Davido on Instagram to share the happy news.
Tiwa Savage’s Controversial Live Session
In a past TikTok live session, Peller struck up a friendship with singer Tiwa Savage, who appeared alongside her friend Jadrolita. The session drew attention when Tiwa revealed a tattoo on her butt, sparking mixed reactions. While Peller appeared uncomfortable, his girlfriend seemed thrilled by the display.
The clip sparked backlash on social media, with critics targeting Tiwa. However, singer Samklef came to her defense, arguing that Nigerians overreacted and lacked exposure. He dismissed the criticism as a reflection of misplaced priorities.
Unbothered by the drama, Tiwa later invited Peller on a private jet trip alongside her son, Jamal Balogun, and her ex-husband, Tee Billz. Peller expressed gratitude for the generous gesture, noting his appreciation for the memorable experience.
