Renowned Nigerian Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, widely known as Kwam1 or K1 De Ultimate, has announced the passing of his mother, Halima Anifowoshe, at the remarkable age of 105.
The legendary artist shared the devastating news on Saturday via his social media accounts. He posted a touching photo of himself with his late mother, accompanied by the caption: “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi Raji’un. RIP Mama.”
This heartbreaking event follows closely on the heels of another personal tragedy for Kwam1. Earlier in the week, he lost one of his wives, Alhaja Hafsat Ajoke Anifowoshe. She passed away on Tuesday after battling an undisclosed illness and was laid to rest the same day at Abari Cemetery, Lagos, according to Islamic traditions.
Fans and colleagues have since flooded social media with condolences, offering prayers and support to the grieving musician during this challenging time.
