Popular Yoruba actress Debbie Shokoya has opened up about a surprising experience with a fellow actor who romantically pursued her while also showing interest in several other actresses in the industry.
Speaking in an interview on the official YouTube channel of Debbie Show TV, the actress shed light on the common occurrence of men in Nollywood pursuing multiple women at the same time.
Shokoya admitted that she initially believed the actor’s advances were genuine, but she later discovered the shocking truth.
“In our movie industry, I have seen cases where a man woos several women at once,” she revealed. Her suspicions were confirmed when she checked a friend’s phone and found out that the same actor had also been pursuing her friend and other actresses simultaneously.
