Teni Surprises Students at Her Late Father’s School, Promises to Sponsor Education of Talented Performers

Nigerian singer Teni, known for her kindness and generosity, recently warmed the hearts of many with a heartwarming gesture during a surprise visit to her late father’s school. The award-winning artist made her way to Apata Memorial High School, which was founded by her late father, Brigadier General Simeon Apata.

In a viral video shared on social media, Teni arrived at the school dressed in a uniform, instantly exciting the students, who cheered enthusiastically. The singer, who is known for her charitable acts—such as gifting a mother with a truckload of food and cash—took time to interact with the students.

Teni asked for the best singers in the school, and three students performed her latest song, Money. One student, in particular, a plus-sized girl, stood out with her powerful voice, impressing both Teni and the crowd. Deeply moved by their performances, Teni promised to pay the school fees for all three students for an entire academic year.

Among the performers, one standout student, who revealed she is in SS3, shared her dream of attending Babcock University. Teni, inspired by the student’s aspirations, promised to sponsor her education if she is admitted to the university, making the day even more special for the students.
