Popular Yoruba Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has opened up about her decision to keep her husband’s identity hidden from the public, emphasizing that she prefers to keep her personal life off social media.
In an interview on Oyinmomo Official’s YouTube channel, the veteran actress discussed her views on motherhood, privacy, and the challenges of being a public figure. She stated that while she has many friends in the entertainment industry, she does not believe in sharing details of her private life online.
According to Amusa, her husband fully supports her choice to keep their relationship private. She explained that she has learned to protect her loved ones from online scrutiny and unnecessary public attention.
“My husband is fine with me not showing his face to the public, and I’m also fine with it because I value my privacy. Even though I have many friends in the industry, I don’t believe in posting about my personal life on social media. I rarely even post about my family members except on their birthdays. Some people, when they can’t attack you directly, go after your mother, siblings, or other loved ones. That’s why I protect my family.”
Her statement has sparked discussions among fans, with many praising her for maintaining a balance between her career and personal life.
